ATSF is committed to the belief that scripture contained in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are trustworthy and vital to illuminating the ultimate truth, values and path for we who choose to follow Christ.
While we acknowledge and respect the diversity of Christian traditions, ideas and practices within the church, we share a common commitment to act, discern and influence in ways that reflect and honor God in every way.
While we highly treasure our personal and organizational relationships with Ashland University and Ashland Seminary, we understand the distinct value of our unique ability to make funding decisions that are not limited by operational or budgetary constraints of our recipient institution. Our independence benefits our donors by ensuring that their alignment with the historical and theological values of Ashland Theological Seminary are always preserved and honored.
As a rain barrel catches God-sent rain and saves it to ultimately nurture and sustain life, we believe that we are entrusted with precious funds that come from God to increase the flourishing of the Kingdom on earth. Because we understand that the gifts we manage come out of God’s abundance, we have the joy of stewarding them with generosity, encouragement and responsibility.
Knowing that trust is earned through credibility and reliability, we are dedicated to giving highest priority to compliance with prevailing laws, regulations, policies, practices, morals, conveying the highest level of confidence among our donors and recipients.
Many gifts directly support the students of Ashland Theological Seminary with scholarships that make the cost of their education more affordable and practical for launching into vocational ministry.
We help provide resources that enhance and expand the impact of faculty upon their students and the greater learning community.
We partner with donors to lean into programs and roles that ensure the potency and effectiveness of ATS for the long term.
