ATSF exists to increase the Kingdom impact of Ashland Theological Seminary by independently raising, stewarding and granting funds exclusively for the Seminary’s use.
The ATSF General Endowment generates funds that support the life and programs of Ashland Theological Seminary. Funds from this endowment are used to fuel opportunities for greater access to, and impact from, the seminary experience. The flexibility of this fund allows ATSF to respond to the needs of the seminary and maximize it’s kingdom impact.
Specific grant requests are periodically submitted by seminary leadership and funds are granted from the General Endowment according to ATSF’s stewardship criteria.

Ashland Theological Seminary’s Thriving Church Ministries program equip’s pastors and ministry leaders to thrive in their personal and professional lives, for their sake and the sake of the congregations and communities in which they serve.
Through personal relationships with their mentors and authentic community with each other, program participants experience personal, professional, and spiritual development that brings lasting change to their spiritual health and capacity as a ministry leader.
By funding the Thriving Church Ministries Endowment you will provide for the long term spiritual health of ministry leaders, their congregations and their communities.
The Byron Endowment was established with the Ashland Theological Seminary Foundation to honor Dr. John Byron, and his wife Lori as a tribute to their remarkable service to Ashland Theological Seminary and its students.
Funds generated by the endowment will be used to host guest lecturers who will extend and deepen the impact of ATS among students and the community.
The John and Lori Byron Endowment for Visiting Lecturers started with a generous $25,000 lead gift. This gift came with a challenge to others to increase the total endowment to $50,000.

This fund will earmark a pool of available funds that can be used to deepen and broaden the impact of the program.
